Easter Egg Hunt

The girls and I didn't get to go to church on Easter Sunday, which was really sad. Especially since M looks forward to church all week. Both girls were coughing and had terrible runny noses. M even threw up twice last night. As usual she didn't cry when she did so. Apparently she had been sleeping in the bottom bunk when she threw up first. She must have gotten out of bed and went into the top bunk to sleep. She threw up there too, but maybe she was sleeping when she did so because she just stayed there. Uck. No church, but lots of laundry...not my idea of a fun Sunday. Sunday afternoon (mercifully, it did rain on Sunday!) we had a family Easter Egg hunt. My sisters Melanie and Diane and their families came over, along with the two neighbor boys (the two youngest boys photographed that none of you will probably recognize).

My mom, Mr. N & Mike (my brother-in-law) hid about 300 eggs in the yard for the kids to find.

This is Kristal, Melanie's daughter in the pink jacket.

Here are some of my mom's beautiful flowers! April showers bring May flowers...so hopefully we'll have lots more flowers!

I love the hyacinths! Ours already bloomed and died, but they sure smelled wonderful in the meantime.
