We had a good Mother's Day here. Mr. N still had his morning church meetings, so I didn't get the morning off I'd hoped for, but we still had a great time together as a family.
Mr. N made a great steak dinner and for dessert he made us sugar cookies to decorate! The girls had a blast "decorating" (i.e. eating) the cookies.
M just dug right in and ate her plate of frosting. Forget putting it on the cookies!

I even opted to not take a nap when Mr. N offered in favor of spending some time together as a family. We don't get much time with dad, so we have to take advantage of it when we can! We went on a nice Sunday afternoon walk instead. It was a really nice day.
