Mr. N is AWESOME!
(and so are my brother- and sister-in-law who made this possible)
For my birthday Mr. N made arrangements for us to stay at a Bed & Breakfast and it was fantastic!
The above and below view was what we could see from our balcony.
It was beautiful.
We took the little paddle boat and went around the lake once...it was a lot of work! It was one of those boats where you peddle like a bike and I think one side didn't paddle as well as the other, so there was a huge tendency to paddle in circles. Luckily the paddle boat had two ores. Otherwise We'd still be on the lake!
We went out to eat at a nice restaurant. I branched out and tried duck
and Mr. N had shrimp. We both left really satisfied and really full!
The bathroom was awesome
It was so relaxing to get away. We probably won't get to do it again for at least an other 3 years...but that's okay!
We had a great time!

hubby is totally oblivious to birthday's. he runs around at the last minute trying to come up with something. although, i do give him credit for the unannounced gifts, like my flowers that were "just because".
