After the game we went to have cake and ice cream. We did a lion cake for M this time. Mr. N helped me a lot in making it. To make the mane we got some orange melting chocolate (for making candies and things) and melted it in a mini bread pan, refrigerated it, and then shaved it with a potato peeler to make the chocolate curls. Mr. N positioned the chocolates. He did such a good job. What an artist!

After a while we noticed M and Kristal had disappeared. We found them in the girls room where they had climbed into L's crib and were jumping. They were having so much fun, we had to take pictures. Hopefully the mattress didn't get ruined in the process.

As for an update on L, we took her to the pediatrician yesterday as a follow up visit from the ER. The doctor was actually really confused by the findings of the CAT scan. He said that it didn't make sense because L was only 7 months old and there wasn't sufficient time for a severe sinus infection to take root. Additionally, the sinuses aren't even fully developed yet at her age. He speculated that the Radiologist who read the CAT scan might not have had a knowledge of pediatrics, which is quite different from regular medicine. He is going to track down the Radiologist who read the CAT scan and have it read again. We should know more in the next 2 days. Oh, and we officially have a little army crawler!

Holy cow Stef! That cake looks amazing! You're getting really, really good at cakes!
What a fun party for Madelyn! Glad everyone had a great time!!
I am glad the fishing pole game went so well. And that was a great idea for the cake! So cute.
I'm glad Lydia isn't bad off as the ER person thought. Dave's convinced that the ER works don't know squat, but they know more than the insta car people.
What a fun party! Fun games, cute cake, what more could a girl ask for!!
